Dr. Jason Oilar, Optometric Physician

Dr. Jason Oilar grew up in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. He has lived in several locations across the country and has received degrees and training from the following institutions:

  • Nova Southeastern University – Doctor of Optometry (OD)
  • Braverman Eye Center – Residency Trained is Ocular Disease and Geriatric Optometry
  • Nova Southeastern University – Bachelor of Science in Vision Science (BS)
  • Oregon State University – Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Florida International University – Bachelor of Arts in Economics (BA)

He is currently involved in the following organizations:

  • Scleral Lens Education Society – Fellow
  • American Optometric Association - Member

  • American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control – Member

  • He specializes in the following areas of optometric care:

During his time outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Juliana and with their son, fishing, hiking, and golfing.


Dr. Claude Brist, Optometric Physician

Dr. Brist is originally from Montana but grew up in Forest Grove, Oregon.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Pacific University in 1972 and his Doctor of Optometry in 1974 from Pacific University College of Optometry. Following graduation Dr. Brist served as an Optometric Physician in the United States Navy, stationed in Beaufort, South Carolina. Dr. Brist enjoys traveling with his wife Barb, gardening, golf, and their dog Max.

Dr. Bethany Thompson, Optometric Physician

Dr. Thompson received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Oregon in 2007 and her Doctor of Optometry in 2011 from Pacific University College of Optometry. Her hobbies include hiking with her husband, gardening, trying new recipes and planning travel adventures!
